Chelsea finally ready to cut Victor Moses lose

Victor Moses has been told he doesn’t fit into Chelsea’s new football philosophy by Italian Manager, Maurizio Sarri and the Nigerian could definitely be on his way out of the Bridge, again, and for good this time.

Sarri has reportedly spoken to the 27-year-old who thrived as a wing-back in the two previous season, and rather than a loan move away; his fourth since joining the London club, e could be allowed to leave permanently.

So far, the former Nigeria international isn’t suited to play as either a full-back or a winger, per the Chelsea Manager in an interview with a British tabloid.

“I don’t know; they have to improve, but the characteristics are a little bit different,” Sarri told reporters, as per the Daily Mail.

“The situation is that Drinkwater for me is not suitable for a midfield with two midfielders.

“I told him two months ago what I think.

“And Moses is more suitable for playing like a wing-back than like a winger or a full-back.”

The Italian manager’s 4-3-3 formation has left no room for their inclusion and he justified that decision in the interview.

Moses has featured in just two of the club’s 11 Premier League matches, while Drinkwater has not played a minute’s football for the Blues this season.
