Chelsea’s Spanish forward Alvaro Morata has agreed to return to Italian football with AC Milan after just one year at Chelsea, according to a report.
The Spanish international hasn’t settled in London after arriving from Juventus last summer, and he managed just 11 goals in 31 Premier League games in 2017/18.
The departure of Antonio Conte and arrival of Maurizio Sarri hasn’t changed his mind about wanting to leave, and journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the forward’s camp has agreed on a move to the San Siro.
All that is left now is for Chelsea to agree on a fee with the Italian giants, with the club looking to recoup most if not all of what they shelled out last summer.
A deal between £58m-£62m could now be agreed, with Morata up for the move.
