Super Falcons defender, Chidinma Okeke has officially joined the Mexican side, Club América Femenil.
The club announced the signing on Wednesday, marking a new chapter in the 24 year-old’s career.
Okeke’s move to Club América follows her departure from Japanese club Mynavi Sendai.
The versatile player has also had stints with Madrid CFF in Spain and Hapoel Be’er Sheva in Israel.
Expressing her excitement about the transfer, Okeke posted the news on social media:
“New era, new start, new story. Let’s get the pages filled up. Let’s make history. Happy to sign with @ClubAmerica_EN.”
Okeke was recently part of the Super Falcons squad that competed in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Her experience and versatility will be valuable assets for her new team in Mexico.
