Chippa United Goalkeeper Akpeyi happy to make Super Eagles World Cup squad

Super Eagles Goalie, Daniel Akpeyi has expressed his happiness after making Coach Gernot 30-man Super Eagles provisional squad for ahead of the World Cup.

Akpeyi spoke to www.brila.net earlier on Tuesday having learned of his inclusion in the Super Eagles provisional squad for the FIFA Mundial holding next Month in Russia.

“I’m really happy to have being considered good enough for the World Cup,” Akpeyi told www.brila.net.

The former Warri Wolves Goalkeeper also expressed his readiness to work hard in order to get the nod and make the final 23-man list that will fly Nigeria’s flag in Russia.

The Super Eagles camp is expected to open on 21st of May ahead of the pre-world Cup friendly matches against DR Congo and England.
