Nassarawa Amazon head coach Christopher Danjuma has revealed his personal objective for the Nigerian Women’s Football league side.
Danjuma speaking in a chat with brila.net disclosed that qualifying for the continent is not just enough but a team that will represent the country well is what he’s building.
“It is the dream of every team to qualify for the continent, but mine is to represent Nigeria well.”
“I want to show case the standard at which Nigeria football is made of, I think that could be the ultimate,” he said.
On 30 June 2020, the creation of the CAF Women’s Champions League was approved by the CAF Executive Meeting. The tournament will be launched in 2021.
