Crystal Palace’s CHRISTIAN BENTEKE has been cut from Roberto Martinez’s final 23-man Belgium 2018 Russia World Cup squad, allegedly due to injury.

The former Liverpool striker Benteke was included in Roberto Martinez’s preliminary squad but misses out on the plane to Russia due to injury.

Meanwhile, Manchester City Captain Vincent Kompany has been deemed fit, and ex-Manchester United man Adnan Januzaj also makes the cut.
