Chuba Akpom will certainly not make his debut in the group stage of the Europa League when PAOK welcome Chelsea to the Stadio Toumbas Thessaloníki on Thursday evening.
The Nigerian striker has been omitted from PAOK’s 18-man provisional roster announced at the end of training on Wednesday afternoon.
PAOK Boss Răzvan Lucescu has not handed a full debut to Akpom since his arrival in Greece last month, with the striker making four appearances off the bench of which two were in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League against Benfica.
Meanwhile, Former Nigeria international Victor Moses remains in contention to start as he was among the Chelsea players that trained at Lolas Sports Center at Souroti, Thessaloniki on Wednesday.
