Former Super Eagles forward Raphael Chukwu-Ndukwe has backed the Nigeria senior national team to beat their South African counterpart ahead of tomorrow’s quarter-final clash between both Nations at the ongoing Africa cup of nations in Egypt.

Chukwu-Ndukwe who played so well in South Africa during his playing days told www.brila.net that the Nigerian team with sheer physical strength will be good enough match to overcome South Africa.
He acknowledged the recent changes in South African football but strongly believe the Eagles will still have the edge nonetheless.
“South Africa yes because they have won Nigeria once in Uyo, that will give them the confidence thinking that they can do it again. We still have the upper hand, I don’t think Nigeria will lose to South Africa and thank God we are not even playing Egypt forget what may have happened in that game.
Every Nigerian will prefer to play South Africa than Egypt. I think God wants us to progress so far in this competition.”
