Former Nigeria international striker Raphael Chukwu-Ndukwe has backed Lille Metropole and Nigerian striker Victor Osihmen to continue to improve as a player after winning the Marc Vivien For award.
Chukwu-Ndukwe speaking in a chat with www.brila.net showered praises on the rise of Osihmen and expects him to continue to grow into a more accomplished player for club and country.
He added that it’s a plus to the Nigeria senior national team considering that he is just another shining light in France winning this award just fee weeks after Simon Moses got recognized as the best player for his Ligue Un side Nantes with a reward of a fresh contract for his exploit as well.
“Osihmen has had a good season you know and he will still improve more because I have seen him and he is somebody that is also disciplined.
I am really happy with our players, their performance and I hope they keep it up. Thank God they are getting a new contract and I am looking at Osihmen getting a new club.”
