Former Nigeria international and Africa cup of Nations runners-up in 2000 Raphael Chukwu Ndukwe has called on Nigerian players to step up their performance ahead of the fast-approaching Africa cup of nations in Cameroon which will start from 9th January to 6th February 2022.
Chukwu-Ndukwe speaking in a chat with brila.net recalled his memory of playing at the Africa cup of nations in the year 2000 and revealed that while playing in Africa biggest soccer showpiece is good, he still regrets not winning the AFCON title after losing the final to Cameroon on home soil 21 years ago.
