Chukwudi Igbokwe happy with his Gent exploits

Nigerian striker, Chukwudi Igbokwe says he’s gradually settling in Belgium where he’s currently a player of Gent under 21.

Since teaming up with the Belgian outfits, the Nigerian youngster has hit the ground running with four goals in five games.

The former Right2Win shining light made his debut for Gent in a game against Anderlecht, he followed it up with a brace against Club Brugge in a 2-1 win on November 29, 2021.

His third goal came in a 1-1 draw with Royal Antwerp.

The skillful, strong, and fast attacker was also on target when Gent under 21 thrashed table-toppers Royale Union 5-0 in a friendly game.

Despite the bright start in his new environment, Goodluck says he’s taking life in Belgium one game at a time.

He said, “It’s a different atmosphere and I’m happy with the way I have started, it’s still a long journey so I’m calm and I just want to continue helping the team”.

Up next for Chukwudi Igbokwe and his Gent teammates is a game against Genk Under 21 in the Under 21 Cup.
