Carney Chukwuemeka is back in training with Chelsea’s first team after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Chukwuemeka, who joined from Aston Villa last summer, made his Chelsea Premier league debut in the clash against Wolves on October 8 and last featured in the league match against Manchester United.
He’s been working alone with physio since picking the injury, but he managed to make coach Graham Potters’ squad to the training camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The 19-year-old took part in the gym session at The Ritz Carlton and ball work later in the day.
Chukwuemeka will be hoping to impress the coach, also get more minutes under his belt when the Premier League returns from World Cup break.
He is expected to be involved when Chelsea face Aston Villa in a friendly on Sunday, at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
