Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze is doubtful for the second leg of Super Eagles FIFA World Cup qualification playoff with Ghana on Saturday.
Chukwueze didn’t train with the team on Saturday due to injury and could be left out of tie.
Reports claimed the 22-year-old picked up hamstring injury in the first leg on Friday and might not be ready for the reserved fixture.
Chukwueze started the first leg of the clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, but was substituted in the second half.
Should he failed to recover from the injury, Coach Austin Eguavoen could turn ro Leicester City forward Ademola Lookman who made his debut in Kumasi.
The match is slated for Tuesday and winner will book a ticket for this year’s finals to hosted by Qatar.
