City make History as Pep conquers Old Trafford in Manchester Derby

Once again, Pep Guardiola won bragging rights and the performance of his Manchester City FC players earned them the status of Kings of the City, following a comfortable 2-0 win over their city rivals Manchester United inside Old Trafford, on a chilly Wednesday night.

Second half Goals from Bernardo Silva (54′) and substitute Leroy Sane (66′) secured three points and the top position in the PL table for the Cityzens, on a night when United failed, yet again to show any real quality.

In addition, City set a new goals record with their 157th goal across all competitions registered by Sane; a goal that also put some daylight between them and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.

Meanwhile, the win takes Man City to just a point (89pts) above Liverpool with three games left to play before the end of the 2018/19 EPL season, and a winner is crowned.
