Claudio Ranieri hails Emmanuel Dennis, but demands consistency

Watford’s manager Claudio Ranieri is delighted with the performance of Emmanuel Dennis and his teammates, following their flawless win over Manchester United on Saturday.

Dennis singlehandedly destroyed the visitors as he contributed a goal and two assists in the 4-1 win against the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

He took his goals involved in the Premier League nine in 11 matches for the Hornets this season.

Speaking after the game, Claudio Ranieri, praised the players for getting the job but demands more consistency from them.

“I think we were so concentrated. The application of my players was fantastic. I told them to press higher so they could kick a long ball and we would be ready to fight behind.

“I decided this because against Arsenal and Southampton we started to press and to try to score goals after we conceded. I wanted us to press from the beginning and look what happened – they did very well.”

Ranieri will hope to use the momentum gained from Saturday’s game when the Golden Boys face his former side Leicester City on Sunday, November 28, at the King Power Stadium.
