Coach Emmanuel Osahan satisfied with Robo Queens’ emphatic win over Edo Queens

Coach Emmanuel Orobosa Osahan of FC Robo Queens is satisfied with his team’s impressive performance against Edo Queens on Thursday.

Coach Osahan watched his girls dismantled Edo Queens 1-4 at the ongoing NWFL Super Six at Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode.

Monday Gift scored the opener for Robo Queens in the 38th minute, Esther Onyenezide doubled the lead through a superb curled free-kick, two minutes after resumption.

Lawal Taiwo scored the third to  record her second goal of the championship and Oke Maria completeed the rout with fourth goal for the Lagos side.

Edo Queens’ consolation goal was scored by Jumoke Alani in the 62nd minute.

Speaking after the final whistle, coach Osahon praised his players for converting their chances, despite not playing at the free flowing beat.

“I feel very happy. We have the believe at the Super 6. We didn’t really play to our full potentials but converted our chances. Everybody played well.”

 

“This is the way I used to handle them. They understand.” – he said.

The victory returned Robo Queens to top of the summit after thematch and remain in good stead for continental tickets as the playoffreached halfway mark.
