Nigeria now has a big task to shake off the defeat to South Africa, roll up its sleeves and fight to reach the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations according to Uganda national team Coach, Milutin Sredojević.
The Eagles were beaten at home 2-0 on matchday one of the qualifiers but Sredojević insists he saw a team that played below par and can do even better.
‘Nigeria did not play to their usual strength and though I won’t get into the deep analysis of the match, I believe that the Coach and his backroom must now roll up their sleeves.
‘Losing or winning the first game of the qualifiers does not mean you’ll qualify or not, so I think the team still has a lot of time to bounce back,’ Milutin Sredojević told brila.net.
