English tabloid Football Insider reported that the Patrick Viera side has made a contact with midfielder Joe Aribo’s camp over a potential transfer to the Premier League side.
Aribo has a contract with Rangers until 2023 and he’s yet to put pen to paper for a new deal with the Scottish Champions.
The 25-year-old former Charlton Athletic midfielder is keeping his option open but remains keen to test himself in a bigger Championship.
Aribo signed for Rangers in 2019 and has become an important part of the squad and helped the Gers win the Scottish Premiership last season.
He followed it up with another astonishing performance this season as Giovanni Van Bronkhorst made it to the Scottish cup final and Europa League semifinal for the first time in 30-years.
This season, Aribo has scored eight goals and created 10 for his teammates.
