Nigeria Judo Federation Technical Director, Amos Ilya, has confirmed three athletes out of four Athletes who will represent the Country at the Commonwealth Games.
Ilya also stated that the last name would be revealed later this week as training continues at the National camp.
In an exclusive chat with www.brila.net, the TD revealed Patrick Edwin (Men’s 66KG), Joy Asonya (Women’s 70kg) and Muritala Fatai Oluwaseun (Men’s 81kg category) have been selected.
Meanwhile, the athletes confirmed that they are full of confidence in their own abilities, as they go for the ultimate prize under every available category.
The 2022 Commonwealth Games will get under way on July 28th at Birmingham in England this year.
