The victory came after he helped the men’s team secured quarterfinals belt, winning all three Group games.
Meanwhile in boxing, Nigeria’s Abdul-Afeez Osoba qualifies for the Round of 16 after beating Carl Hield of Bahamas.
Osoba stopped his opponent in the round of the men’s -71kg clash in Birmingham.
The boxer will know his opponent on Sunday.
