As the Federation Elections draw near, Minister of Youth and Sports Solomon Dalung says his office will not interfere in activities of the boards after inauguration.

Minister Dalung added that the recently adopted election guidelines are basically a “pre-election document” and intends to end his involvement with the elections there.

The Minister stated that the boards will decide how they want to operate and who to engage in the cause of their operations.

Often, Federations appoint consultants who carry out their daily businesses; contrary to international norm, but Minister clearly stressed he’d not meddle.
