Daniel Akpeyi was between the sticks for Chippa United in the PSL match as the Chilli boys fought back to earn a point against Supersport United on Tuesday.
Akpeyi who returned to the starting line up after the goalless draw against Platinum Stars had been sidelined with three games prior.
However on Tuesday night, the Nigeria International was breached on the 28th minute.
He would nonetheless shut out the hosts afterwards as Chippa launched their comeback bid.
On the stroke of half time, the visitors were rewarded, and Akpeyi redeemed.
The Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium would record no more goals on the night as the game ended 1-1.
Akpeyi sustained the injury that kept him out for three weeks playing for Chippa United.
