Coach Christopher Danjuma has applauded CAF’s decision to approve the commencement of the Africa women champions league for next year 2021.
Danjuma speaking in a chat with www.brila.net hailed the decision to finally consider the agitation which has been on before now to have African women clubs engage themselves on the continent.
He added that this initiative will help all stakeholders in women football on the continent and help ensure a rapid growth of the women game in Africa.
“I think this is a great development in every aspect, it’s a serious encouragement to both the handlers, the sponsors and the various women football Federations and kudos to Aisha Falode’s board because they have been pressing that no matter how small let’s start so that we will be able to catch up with the European nation when it gets to international competition.
