Coach of Nigeria Women Premier League side Nasarawa Amazon Christopher Danjuma has stated that he is optimistic his side will eventually get their bearing after a slow start to the 2020/2021 NWPL season with two defeats in two home fixtures played already.
Danjuma speaking in a chat with brila.net said the new campaign has got off to a bad and unfamiliar start for him as a coach and he reckons that it will not be too long before they find their feet back in the league and will be cruising when others starts struggling.
“I’ve never started a season like this, so I believe it’s one aspect of Football in my coaching career that I am learning how to deal with and remain afloat which will turn out to toughen me, makes me bitter and wiser. We’re having our own share of struggle at the early stage of the season and we are going to be strong and keep going when others will begin to find their own share of struggle too.”
