Dele-Bashiru Impressive in Watford win at Huddersfield Town

Nigerian midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru was in action for Watford FC in their English Championship game against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

Dele-Bashiru was handed another start by coach Slaven Bilic at the John Smith’s Stadium, with Watford coming out on top 2-0 winners.

The midfielder paired Leandro Bacuna in front of the back four and the decision worked perfectly as they protected the defense from danger.

The 23-year-old capped his performance with an assist as he created the first goal of the game scored by João Pedro in the 54th minute.

Watford put the game to bed, with João Pedro’s second of the game in the 86th minute.

Meanwhile Dele-Bashiru’s compatriot William Troost-Ekong and Maduka Okoye missed the game.

The Super Eagles duo weren’t listed for action by Coach Slaven Bilic.
