Dennis joins Awoniyi at Nottingham Forest

Emmanuel Dennis has completed his expected move to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The striker signed for Premier League side from Championship side Watford, after a deal worth £20m was agreed.

Dennis, 24, put pen to paper for a four-year contract and he becomes the second Nigerian to sign for the this summer, after Taiwo Awoniyi.

“Nottingham Forest is delighted to confirm the signing of striker Emmanuel Dennis from Watford,” Nottingham Forest wrote on their website.

“The 24-year-old forward arrives on Trentside having hit double figures for The Hornets last season, returning 10 goals from 33 Premier League starts.

Dennis becomes Forest’s 13th signing in the busy transfer market.

He could make his Forest debut against West Ham United at City Ground on Sunday afternoon.

Steve Cooper’s side made a shaky start to life in the English Premier League following a 2-0 away defeat against Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
