Dennis misses Watford win over Burnley as move to Forest edge closer

Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis was omitted from Watford’s squad for their Championship clash against Burnley on Friday.

The player was left of the game, in order to finalize his desired transfer to Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

The player is said to have completed his medical test and the deal could be announced any moment from now.

Watford however managed to win the game 1-0, thanks to a strike from former Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverly.

Dennis’ compatriots Maduka Okoye, Troost Ekong, and Samuel Kalu were completely left of the game as well.

While Ekong and Kalu have tasted action this season, Okoye is yet to play second Championship football for the club.

The keeper wasn’t named in the Watford team for the third time this season, with Watford boss Rob Edwards sticking with Ian Bachmann as the club’s number one.
