Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to sign Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis.
The deal is said to be in the region of £20m, but there are still details to be sorted, before the deal can be announced.
Dennis signed for Watford in a £3.5m deal from Club Brugge last summer and instantly became a hit at the club.
He contributed ten goals and six, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Hornets in the elite division for another campaign.
Should the deal go through, the Nigeria international will become the club’s 13th signing of a busy summer.
The 24-year-old joins Neco Williams, Jesse Lingard, Taiwo Awoniyi, Dean Henderson and Harry Toffolo, as well as a host of others, who joined the Midlands club this summer.
With Nottingham Forest’s bid of around £20m accepted, according to The Athletic, Dennis will become their most expensive player ever, beating the £18m they paid for Taiwo Awoniyi.
