Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has cleared Calvin Bassey for the Europa League clash against Sporting Braga this Thursday.
Bassey was not involved in last weekend’s win at St Mirren on Sunday, no thanks to the knock he picked up in training.
The young defender has been a success story for the Gers this season and van Bronckhorst is keen to have him for the important game against the Portuguese side. .
“Bassey was is training today so hopefully available for tomorrow,” the Dutchman told reporters during his presser on Wednesday.
The Scottish Premiership champions are trailing 1-0 from the first leg and only an outright victory over Braga at Ibrox will guarantee them passage to the semis.
