Derby win lifts Union Berlin

It was celebratory mood for Union Berlin  and their fans after the Derby win in the German Bundesliga match against Hertha Berlin on Saturday.

Union Berlin went on a scoring spree, puting four past their City rivals in the 4-1 win.

Die Eisernen completed a double over their neighbors and got a massive boost for their hope of playing European football next season.

Union Berlin occupy seventh position on the table with 44 points from 29 matches.

There were four different goal scorers for the visitors – Taiwo Awoniyi was not one of the them.

Nigerian forward featured for 82nd minutes before Andreas Voglsammer.

Awoniyi entered the game with a tally of 12 league goals, the most by any one of URS Fischer’s men this season

Next for Awoniyi and his mates is match against Frankfurt away from home.
