Jose Peseiro has declared he wants the Super Eagles to play attacking football and dominate opponents.
Peseiro, who was appointed after Austin Eguavoen failed to deliver the 2022 FIFA World Cup ticket, kicked off his reign with a friendly against Mexico, but his team lost.
“My philosophy as a coach is to play attacking football,” Peseiro stated in his post match remarks.
“I love my team to score and pressure the opponent, this is the best way to unsettle your opponent and win games.
“That is how we played in the second half against Mexico and we will work more ahead of the Ecuador game,” He said.
It was an uneasy start for Peseiro as he prosecuted the game with second string side and lost 2-1 to against Mexico’s El Tri.
Next for the team, is another test game against Ecuador later on Thursday and he’ll be hoping to get his first victory.
