Cyriel Dessers was the star of the show for Genk as he scored all five goals in their practice match against Westerlo Tuesday afternoon.
KRC Genk won 5-1, and Dessers put in an eye-catching performance when he converted all the chances created for him by his teammates.
Dessers has struggled for game time this season as he is currently behind Paul Onuachu, Theo Bongonda, and Junito Ito in the pecking order.
The performance against Westerlo could open further first-team opportunities for the Belgian-born Super Eagles of Nigeria forward.
The 25-year-old has scored just three goals for the club this season after his summer move from Dutch Eredivisie’s side Heracles.
