Cremonese continues its giant killing run in the Coppa Italia with another famous win over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday.

The bottom placed club in the Serie A stunned Jose Mourinho’s side 2-1, with Nigerian duo Cyriel Dessers and David Okereke doing the damage.

Dessers gave Cremonese the lead in the first half when he won and converted a penalty.

The striker dispossessed Marash Kumbulla and raced at goal with the ball, before he was brought down by Rui Patricio.

Mourinho made four changes at the break, but Cremonese instead doubled their lead, this time, David Okereke was the creator as his across for Charles was diverted into the back of the net by Zeki Celik.

Okereke had a great chance to increase the lead, but his curled effort went inches wide.

Roma finally pulled one back in the added time, but Cremonese held on for a famous win and will face Fiorentina in the last four.
