Sunshine Stars’ gaffer, Emmanuel Deutsch, praised his team, after picking another point on the road.
Sunshine earned a 0-0 draw away at Rangers in an NPFL match at Akwa City stadium.
The draw means, Sunshine Stars remain unbeaten in the three matches since the appointment of the Cameroonian who replaced Deji Ayeni.
“It was a very good game against a very good side, Rangers,” Deutsch told the press.
” In the first round, they got a draw in our home and this result balances things out.
“We had to contain them by not allowing them to do what they planned to do as they have very good players in their squad.
“In football you can not say what you want to do because the opponents will come with their target; Rangers prepared well and we came with our own target. Now we are going home, but football do not really know home or away.”
Sunshine Stars remain sixth on the log with 33 points from 23 outings and host table toppers, Rivers United next.
