Former Super Eagles shot-stoper Dosu Joseph has advised Alex Iwobi to stay at Everton and continue his development.
Iwobi is making a big impact at Everton and his impressive performances had not gone unnoticed.
However, Everton had been on a poor patch before the PL season was halted for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The player is also coming to the end of his deal at Everton, and hasn’t put pen to paper for new deal as his entourage and Everton continue negotiation.
Meanwhile, Atlanta ’96 Olympic gold medallist, Joseph Dosu, has now advised the player to prolong his stay at Everton by signing a new agreement.
“The club has shown intent to keep him by offering a new deal to stay, which I believe he should accept and stay.
“He is appreciated by the club, his manager and the fans, something that he didn’t really enjoy from where he was coming from,” Dosu said as per punch sports extra.
Iwobi has made 15 appearances for Everton this season, scoring once and assisting five.
