National team striker Sunusi Ibrahim is optimistic that the Dream Team VII will do well and secure Tokyo 2020 Olympic tickets in Egypt.
Sunusi is one of the 21 players that made the final list to the CAF U-23 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, where the team will be battling to retain their title and clinch Tokyo 2020 Olympic tickets.
Before the departure of the team to Egypt on Thursday, Sunusi told the press that team is united and ready to fight their for the top prises.
“For the nations cup that we have in Egypt, the message I have for Nigerians we pray by God grace this U23 that we are going by God grace, we are going to put out everything, we are going to work together and see that we bring the trophy back to Nigeria.” He said.
The tournament will kick off November 2nd and Nigeria will face Ivory Coast, South Africa and Zambia in the Group stage.
