Chelsea icon, Didier Drogba has cautioned Napoli hitman, Victor Osimhen, against agreeing a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

The Nigerian striker has been in impressive form for Napoli this season and the Ligue 1 champions have expressed their interests to bring him in.

Luis Campos, PSG’s sporting director, has already held conversations with Roberto Calenda, Osimhen’s agent, concerning a possible summer transfer.

Drogba, who Osimhen considers a role model, has persuaded the Nigerian international not to join the Paris-based club.

“He (Osimhen) is really in the sights of a club like PSG,” the Chelsea legend said.

“It shows the full extent of his talent and the season he is having.

“But PSG is not the club he needs to continue his progress.”

Having scored 24 goals in 26 games, the 24-year-old has caught the attention of Europe’s elite teams, among them Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, alongside PSG and Bayern Munich.
