Abia Warriors striker Paul Samson, popularly known as Drogba has tipped his side to be involved In a fight for the league title despite the team’s current position citing the change of fortune with a run of just one defeat in the last nine games as pointers of a gradual turn around for the team.
Samson speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team has turned a corner and the players, as well as the coach, are doing well right now though admitted the poor start to the campaign may have led many to write the team off but enthused that up is the way for the team as they gel together better.
“We didn’t start well and it’s good for us and we’ve got a headway already, we see ourselves fighting for the league. I know many people would have written us off because of our position and our performance but we believe in ourselves and the coach has been doing a great job. We’re not coming down anymore, we’re only going up.”
