Assistant coach of Nigeria’s women national basketball team Peter Ahmedu has declared that the Nigerian ladies are ready to go against Cameroon ahead of today’s group stage decider.
Ahmedu speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team has had video sessions to analyse their opponent and believe they have done enough in terms of team and game strategy to emerge victorious and secure a direct qualification to the quarter final rather than the longer route of playing a qualifying tie before the quarter final.
“D’Tigress are in high spirit, we had a video session where we analysed Cameroon our next opponent and also our previous game.
With what we have right now, the Tigress are really ready to go and by the special grace of God with what we have and what we have put on ground, D’Tigress will emerge victorious and that will take us to next level of the championship.”
