Rivers united and homebased Super Eagles player Ebube Duru has hailed the impact of his domestic league colleagues in the Super Eagles 2-1 international friendly loss to Mexico after the introduction of four players from the NPFL as substitutes in the game against the El Tri.
Duru speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that the Nigeria Professional Football League players represented well and gave the Super Eagles coach Jose Pesieiro a reason to thoroughly give consideration to players in the Nigerian league in the event of upcoming and future national team engagements.
