The Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived in Volgograd ahead of Friday’s crucial FIFA World Cup Group D clash against the tiny Nation, Iceland.
According to the NFF spokesperson, Ademola Olajire read that they flew from their Essentuki base on Thursday morning and were settled in their Hampton-by-Hilton Volgograd.
Brila FM’s Anthony Bekederemo had reported earlier that focus has been on the encounter with the Euro 2016 quarter-finalists since Eagles’ loss to Croatia in Kaliningrad on Saturday.
A victory for the Super Eagles will ignite any little hopes of progressing into the Second round of the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
