Assistant coach of Nigeria’s U17 national team Jolomi Atune has stated that the Nigeria U17 national team is adequately prepared to pounce on Angola ahead of this afternoon’s meeting between both sides at the ongoing CAF Africa U17 championship.
Atune speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said Nigeria’s Eaglet is fully ready for the onslaught of Angola and are set to add Angola as the next victim in their list of casualties by taking each game one after the other.
He also added that the Angolan team is familiar having both met at the invitational tour of Turkey in their build up to this tournament.
“Preparation is a hundred percent, before coming here we’ve prepared to come to play anybody. So we are ready for anybody that’s football. Our plan is to take every game as it come.
The next is Angola and we have played them in Antalya Turkey during the build up to this tournament. God’s willing we will win against Angola today.”
Nigeria will with a win get a leg in the semi final of the tournament and if result elsewhere go the team’s away, qualification becomes guaranteed.
