Nigeria U17 MNT star Precious Williams is confident the team will fight for the ultimate prize at the U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria.

In their opening group match, Nigeria will face Zambia, at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine on Sunday.

Speaking ahead of the team’s opening game, the Young forward said :

“The coaches have done their work to prepare us for the games and we are coming in to use the knowledge they have imparted, to get what we want to achieve; qualifying for the World Cup and trying to win the tournament.

“It is a very special moment for me to wear the national team jersey and I want to go from here to the Super Eagles.

“This is a start and I hope it continues,” he stated.

The two-time African Champions will face Morocco and South Africa in other Group B games.
