Eberechi Eze scored the all-important winning goal for Crystal Palace as they defeated struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Eberechi Eze who is still eligible to play for Nigeria scored the only goal of the match in the 60th minute to hand Roy Hodgson’s men all the three points.
The talented midfielder collected Jordan Ayew’s pass, skipped past a defender, before unleashing a low drive from the edge of the area beyond Rui Patricio.
It was his second premier league goal of the season since joining the Eagles in a 16million pound deal from Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
Apart from the goal, the 22-year-old also completed the most take on on the pitch and was named man of the match award.
The victory takes Crystal Palace to 13th position on the standings with 26 points, 3 points above Wolverhampton Wanderers.
