Eberechi Eze is heading to Crystal Palace after the premier league club reached an agreement with his club Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday.
The Roy Hughson men reached an agreement to sign the 22 year old for a fee that could rise to £20m.
Eze has been linked to an exit from Rangers, with West Ham United and Fulham also showing interest in his services, but Crystal Palace has now appeared to have won the race.
Eze, who scored 14 goals in 46 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship for QPR last season is expected to have a medical in the coming days and finalize personal terms.
The former Millwall player was omitted from QPR’s squad for Saturday friendly with AFC Wimbledon, with the manager Mark Warburton admitted Eze would be allowed to move away from the Club for the right money.
“Any situation for any player is resolved when the value of a player is met, that’s how you resolve a situation,” Warburton said.
“You make sure the value is appropriate, the value is correct, and when that value is met we wish everyone the best of luck going forward. That’s the way it is at QPR. Right now if it is not reached then he’s a QPR player. As long as we pay the wages, he’s one of ours.” he said.
