Lobi Stars head coach, Eddy Dombraye has denied reports that he is set to dump Lobi Stars of Makurdi.
Dombraye was appointed as the new head coach of the team few days ago, and but unverified news making the rounds, claimed the coach could dump the team.
The reports claimed Dombraye was prevented from taking training session by the General Manager of the Club oon Friday September 18, 2021 at the Aper Aku Stadium Makurdi.
In his reaction to the reports, Coach Eddy Lord Dombraye said, ” I don’t have any issues with any of the management staff of the club, I have enjoyed tremendous cooperation since I arrived Makurdi, I didn’t end the training session which is true, but my leaving the arena was unconnected to any form of misunderstanding with anybody”.
“I had to go and attend to a pressing family matter, and had excused myself from training accordingly and handed over to my assistant. I don’t know where such insinuation was coming from.”
Eddy Dombraye is a Ukraine based UEFA A Licensed Coach who played for Nigeria at the junior and senior level during his active days.
