Eden Hazard Retires from International Football

Belgian forward, Eden Hazard has officially retired from International duties, following the team’s dismal outing at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Hazard announced this decision, Wednesday, after fourteen years since his debut in 2008.

He posted on his IG page:

Today I turn a page. Thanks for your love

Thank you for your unparalleled support. Thank you for all the joyful moments we have shared since 2008.

Today I decided to put an end to my career as an international. The next generation is ready. I’m going to miss you so much.

The 31-year-old leaves the stage with a World Cup bronze medal which Belgium won back in 2018.

Meanwhile, He’ll now look to focus on his club career, which has been blighted by injury, since making a move to Spain three years ago.
