Nigerian Udinese defender, William Troost-Ekong has made the Seria A Team of The Week for matchday 8 after his sterling performance for Udinese against Ola Aina’s Torino last weekend.
Ekong was at the heart of the Club’s third win of the season over their visitors and helped the defended their lone goal advantage.
The Tottenham Hotspurs academy graduate had a game rating of 7.8, he made 8 clearances, three accurate passes blocked four shots to help the Igor Tudor secured the hard-fought win.
Ekong was paired in the team of the week defense with AS Roma Gianluca Mancini, Parma’s Riccardo Gagliolo and Paolo Farago of Cagliari.
Ekong has featured six times for Udinese this season and has helped the Club to 10th position on the log.
