Nigerian duo of Williams Troost-Ekong and Stefano Chuckwuka Okaka were involved in Udinese’s victory over Sassuolo in one of the matchday 19 of Italian Serie A on Sunday.
Both players started the game and gave good account of themselves as Udinese went on to secure 3-0 valuable victory over their visitors.
Stefano Okaka made 1 – 0 for Udinese in the 14th minutes of the encounter and it was the only goal that separated both sides going into the half time break.
Ken Sema added the second eight minutes after an hour mark , before Rodrigo De Paul completed the rout on the dot of 90 minutes to seal the win.
While Okaka was on target, Ekong was a rock at the back and he has now helped Udinese to their second consecutive clean sheet for the first time this season.
The game was Troost-Ekong’s 17th league appearance for Udinese in the league this season, he has only missed two games so far to injury.
Udinese, meanwhile, occupied 11th position on the log with 24 points from 19 matches and are five points away from Europa league spot.
