MFM FC two goals hero against Plateau United, Elijah Akanni says he is hungry to score more goals for the club before the end of the season.
Elijah Akanni scored twice to lead the Olukoya Boys to a 3-1 win against Plateau United at the Agege Township Stadium on Wednesday.
He scored the first on the stroke of half time and added the second four minutes after an hour mark.
In a chat with brila.net after the game, Akanni said he’s delighted to score both goals, and added that he’s not resting on his oars.
“I’m excited about the results, we worked hard for it. I scored two goals, but I believe I can still do more to help the team.
MFM FC are currently placed 10th on the log, Akanni however remain optimistic that they will move up the table before the end of the season.
“By the Grace of God, I believe we will move up the table. We want to end the team in the good position and we will continue to work hard to achieve this aim” he told brila.net.
